9  Ways You Can Increase your Visibility as an Approved Supplier on The Guide Directory

Number 1: The 10 Question Tea Break  
This will be recorded on a Zoom call together, where I ask you 10 questions related to you as a person, as well as questions related to your business. All with the motivation of building that know like and trust with viewers, learning more about you and your fabulous business.
 
The recorded content will then be edited into a short video that can then be used on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, You Tube and your own website to showcase your amazingness!!

10 Question Tea Break Questions:
We will already have clarified your name, business name, what UK & Ireland Regions you cover in the introductions.

1)What do you specialise in?
(This is your elevator pitch where in a short few sentences, the audience can get a real feel for what you do, the service you offer, and who your ideal client is. Your elevator pitch should leave viewers interested to find out more.  For example, Parker and Peony Flowers - “We specialise in boho glam wedding floral design and venue transformations that create a beautiful backdrop for your happily ever after”).
2)What 3 words would your best friend describe you as?
3)What is the most random job you have done before starting your wedding business?
4)Share something people would generally NOT know about you…
5)Cats or Dogs?
6)What is your favourite part of your job working in the wedding industry?
7)What piece of advice do you give most often to couples you work with?

(Specific to your area of expertise eg. Photography, or a Celebrant Ceremony)
8)What makes your wedding offerings different from other suppliers within your specialism?

Number 2: Share a Love Story
This can be completed both as a LIVE recording on social media, or as a pre-recorded feature via Zoom. This feature is all about sharing an example of your work that you love and would like to talk about and share to the world. It can be a real wedding, an editorial shoot. Depending on what your area of expertise is, we can flex the subject matter to apply.

​​For example, if you are a Photographer, it could be as a Power Point Presentation (or something similar), and you could talk through the aspiration and wishes of the client, your experience of the day, and then the end result.

Another example, as a Celebrant, you could share images of the day or shoot, the reading you completed and feedback you received from your wedding couple or team you worked with.
 
As a Bridal Boutique, you could come on and have a chat about a bride to be journey at your boutique, the dress they chose and how they felt when they left you and what a difference you made to their experience. Whatever your line of wedding business, we can create a way to share your love story!

Number 3: Take a Tour with… 
This feature is all about finding out what you get up to when you are hard at work in your wedding business. We would love to create some footage of you showing us round your studio/ office/ venue/ ceremony space/ kitchen/ flower poly tunnel, etc. etc. basically anywhere you fancy that has an online connection!!

​This feature can be completed in a couple of ways, either on Insta LIVE or Facebook LIVE or we can pre-record via Zoom if you would prefer and then release once edited. We will both be in shot (the same as on Zoom) and we will be having a chat whilst on tour of your
space.
Whilst on our tour of your space, we will talk about things like…
 
1)Introductions – name, business name, UK & Ireland Regions you cover
2)Where will you be showing us around today?
3)What you get up to in this space
4)What is your favourite thing to do in this space?
5)How long you have been in this space for
6)What you are currently working on – having something to show and talk about would be great!
7)What your favourite part of your role is when working with wedding couples

 
For the majority of you, you will complete this via a mobile phone, therefore we would recommend getting some kind of stand, selfie stick, tripod or Gimbel to stabilise your footage. We also recommend checking that your internet connection is strong before going live or recording your feature.

Number 4: Our Approved Supplier Showcase
 This is a written feature all about you! The person behind the wedding business. This will be a written post on social media answering the following questions. We would LOVE a good profile photo of you, ideally a head and shoulder shot, or similar.

We ask you to answer the following questions in an email so we can create a social media post for you.

2)What county do you live in?
3)Where have you previously lived?
4)Who do you live with?
5)What previous jobs have you had before your entered the wedding industry?
6)Finish the sentence, ‘I feel at my best and most useful when I am…
7)What is your favourite thing to do to relax?
8)What is your favourite part of working in your wedding business?

9)What are you looking forward to that is coming up in your business? New products, improved products, collaborations, fairs, competitions etc.

​Number 5: Submit Your Shoot and Real Wedding Content to feature on the Be More Boho Blog
As an approved supplier on The Guide Directory, we would LOVE to feature your boho-inspired wedding work on our ‘Be More Boho’ Blog. We don’t care if you have been featured elsewhere, we just want to help you maximise your exposure of your fabulous work out to boho bride on their wedding planning journey. All the details can be found…

Number 6: Guest Blog Feature
Another opportunity open to you, is to apply to be a guest blog on our Be More Boho Blog. We are always looking for fabulous content to share that will inspire and inform our boho bride audience.

So if you love writing about your wedding specialism, and are able to focus your content towards the boho bride audience, then please do send us in a flavour of your work. Please also include the title you are interested in writing about, together with a few pics that could accompany your article. We will then confirm your guest blog feature and you can then work on your final content.

Number 7: Send us Content You are Proud of
We would love to share your previous wedding shoots or real wedding blog features that you have been part over the last 2 years, that fit the Boho-Inspired Wedding Style. We can then use these within our social media promotion of you and your business throughout your time with us.

  • any website links to this content,
  • a paragraph explaining an overview of the shoot or real wedding, when, where, who etc. and your involvement.
  • Also include, Facebook and Instagram handles of all suppliers involved (and couple if relevant), so we can create a fabulous social media feature about your work.
